Founded in 2015, the RLNE brings together over a dozen independent newsrooms from Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, as well as dozens of media professionals from Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The partnership thrives thanks to a unique ecosystem of content exchange, coordination, and innovation. A Central Newsroom in Prague coordinates the partnership.
Since its inception, the RLNE has become a unique hub of professional experience, regional expertise and innovation. We unite talented media-professionals from all over the region. We’re continuously learning, and we can teach others what we’ve learned.
The RLNE provides the participants with opportunities to bring vital local stories to a broader regional and global audience. To adapt the latest ideas and globally proven strategies of content generation to the regional realities, and at the same time, to build up sustainability of RLNE members.
